How to Download Instagram Videos
Follow this simple guide to save Instagram Reels and videos to your phone or computer — free and without logging in.
Step 1 — Copy the video link
Open the Instagram Reel, video post or IGTV clip you want to save. Tap the share icon (paper plane) and select "Copy link". On desktop you can also right-click the post and copy the URL from the address bar.
Step 2 — Paste the link on Insta Downloader
Open Instaloader.com in your browser and paste the copied link into the download box. Any of these link formats work:

Step 3 — Press Download
Click the Download button. Within a few seconds the video is prepared and your browser starts saving the MP4 file. The download includes the original audio and the best available quality.
Tips
- Only public accounts can be downloaded. Private posts are not accessible.
- The first request after the server has been idle can take up to a minute — please wait.
- On Android, downloaded videos are usually saved in your "Downloads" or "Files" app.
- If a download fails, refresh the page and try again — Instagram sessions refresh periodically.
